Firefighter 4 Cures, or better known as FF4CURES was a personal blog born by Jason Bostic, a firefighter of 24 years.
I created this blog almost a decade ago while on vacation in VA Beach sitting at our campsite. I wanted a way to document, share, and gather like minded individuals together for similar causes. While initially it was geared toward a single event that started it all for me, it grew into so much more.
I started my first event back in 2006 with the Scott Firefighter Stair Climb which benefits the Leukemia Society. Over the course of many years I added numerous events from around the United States and as far as South America. Primarily stair climbs, but then I added in 5k events as well for some amazing causes.
In 2024 I stepped away from the fire service, but still remain deeply involved in firefighter related events and support. Moving forward my role with the LLS continues as an Ambassador with our life changing event!
